Luristan, 9th – 8th century BC
Bronze with black-green patina, some places still preserved shiny metallic luster. Pendant in the form of two antithetically arranged horse front parts, which bear a lug on the common back. Cast from one piece in the technique of lost wax.
Dimension: height: 6,8 cm, length: 7 cm, width: 2,6 cm
Condition: Intact and with very nice surface and patina.
Provenance: Private collection A. N., United Kingdom, acquired in the late 1990s.
