Iranian Mace Head

Luristan, 8th – 7th century BC

Bronze with shiny olive brown patina. Cylindrical tube bordered by three bulging rings at the upper and lower ends. In the upper third a wreath with three rows of pyramidal spikes.

Dimension: height: 12 cm, diameter: 5,9 cm

Condition: Intact and excellently preserved with very nice patina.

Provenance: German private collection V. S., Berlin, since the 1980s.
