On the front in a trapezoidal, clay-ground field Dionysus striding to the right, his head turned back, holding a large drinking horn in his raised left hand. On the left and on the right an unclothed Satyr in prancing attitude. The hair, beard and border of the clothes are painted in additional cherry red color.
Dimension: Height 20,2 cm, width 21 cm, depth 17 cm
Condition: A small replacement at the back rim of the opening, otherwise intact and very nicely preserved.
Provenance: Collection I. H., Wolfenbüttel. Ex collection Dr. G. Dieterich, Rheinfelden, acquired 1998 in the German Art Trade.
