Iranian Bird Pendant
Luristan, 9th century BC.
Bronze with shiny maroon and dark green patina. Sitting bird with large curved beak and broadly fanned tail. On the back an eyelet for hanging.
Dimension: length 7 cm, width 3 cm, height 5,2 cm
Condition: Intact and in excellent condition with shiny patina. Mounted on a plexiglass base.
Provenance: South German private collection, acquired before 2000 in the German Art Trade.
