Minoan beaked Jug
Early Minoan, Agios Onouphrios style, ca. 2700-2500 BC.
Light orange clay with rust red painting in the form of narrow vertical lines radiating to the bottom.
Dimension: height 16.3 cm, diameter 16.4 cm
Condition: front part of the spout very carefully replaced, otherwise intact and very nicely preserved.
Provenance: German private collection, acquired 1981 in the German Art Trade.
