Western Greek miniature Bell Krater

2nd half 4th century BC

Very unusual miniature size of a Bell Krater. On both sides a female head wearing a Sakkos, adorned with Diadem, necklace and earrings. Under each handle a Palmette accompanied by Volutes. Under the rim an olive branch.

Dimension: height: 11,6 cm, diameter: 11,8 cm

Condition: Intact and very well preserved.

Provenance: South German private collection, acquired 2001 in the German art trade.
