Etrusco-Corinthian Alabastron


late 7th century BC


Light, sand-coloured clay. Conical body on flat base. Around the wall bands in black glaze, red and white additional colour. In the lower zone jumping greyhounds.


Dimension: height: 13,8 cm, diameter: 5,3 cm

Condition: In the neck a glued break, otherwise very nice preserved.

Provenance: Art Trade London, from a French private collection of the 1960s.
