Roman ribbed bowl

1st half 1st century A.D.

Aquamarine coloured glass. Flat, wide bowl with 26 solid radial ribs on the outside. Two cut concentric rings in the centre of the inner side.

Dimension: height: 4,1 cm, diameter: 14,8 cm

Condition: In one place of the wall a small dark inclusion. Otherwise intact and excellently preserved.

Provenance: South German private collection, acquired 1980.
