Attic geometric Tankard

On the entire wall geometric decoration of surrounding stripes and bands of rhombuses filled with dots. In the main picture field of the front a dense trellis of water birds. On the outside of the handle, horizontal stripes and three decorative cruciform plates.
Dimension: height: 22 cm, width: 18 cm, diameter: 11,5 cm
Condition: Some small surface chips, at the rim one piece very carefully reattached. Otherwise intact and very beautifully preserved.
Provenance: German private collection, acquired 1996 in the German Art Trade.
